Kukui is an MBA JD litigation attorney and Director with the law firm of Starn O’Toole Marcus & Fisher. She mostly represents clients in complex litigation matters, and her clients include those in construction, real estate development, large financial institutions, and business owners. She represents both corporate and public entities, ranging from large and small medium-sized Hawaii companies to Fortune 500 firms, to national banks, to multiple state entities. Kukui holds a JD from Georgetown University Law School, and is active in the Hawaii Chapter of the Federal Bar Association, where she previously served as President.
Kukui is passionate about surfing and the ocean and thinks the best feeling in the world is seeing that same passion ignite in others. She joined Surfrider Spirit Sessions first as a mentor, and then as a board member in 2024.
